Aaron Keane wins CEMS Final Year Dissertation Prize

We’re delighted to announce that Aaron Keane, BA English and History 2023, has been awarded the awarded the Centre for Early Modern Studies, Limerick 2023 prize for best final year dissertation, for a work entitled The Philosopher King: Wisdom, Eternal Knowledge, and Epistemology in King Alfred’s Religious Texts.

Aaron was supervised by Dr Carrie Griffin (Engish and CEMS), and the prize was judged by a committee: Dr Alistair Malcolm (History, UL), Dr Gordon O’Riain (Gaeilge, UL), and Dr Liam Chambers (History, MIC).
